Requirement: a functional installation of Textpattern.

Install XML-RPC for Textpattern 4.0.x

Unzip/untar the archive to a local directory on your computer.
Upload the contents of to your main installation directory (where usually you'll see .htaccess, index.php and the textpattern directory)
There should now be an additional file in your textattern/lib/ directory called txplib_wrapper.php. And the rpc directory should be accessible in parallel to your textpattern directory. For example:

http://mysite.com/ (main site)

http://mysite.com/textpattern/ (textpattern administration directory)

http://mysite.com/rpc/ (XML-RPC directory)

Configure your client

XML-RPC endpoint	`http://mysite.com/rpc/`
User	Your Textpattern user login
Password	Your Textpattern user password
API	`Blogger`, `MetaWeblog` or `MovableType` (preferred).
