There are some fascinating new plugins emerging over on the Textpattern Plugin Forum:
- TXPhorum, a simple discussion forum that runs within Textpattern, built by Ben Bruce using several existing plugins.
- rss_pluginstaller, a tool for automatically downloading, installing and upgrading plugins, by Rob Sable.
- The Multi-Lingual Publishing Pack, a plugin and mod for publishing Textpattern sites in multiple languages, by Steve Dickinson.
- tru_podcast, a podcasting plugin by Nathan Arthur that takes advantage of the new XML feed features in Textpattern 4.0.4.
- zem_event, a powerful event calendar plugin developed by Team Textpattern and released by Matthew Smith.
It’s exciting to see so many plugins pushing the boundaries and demonstrate what Textpattern can really do. Folks, go hit tip jars and ransom buttons so we can see what happens next.
Great plugins indeed ! But I am still expecting a support for trackbacks :-(. Nice work anyway, bravo !

Hello Alex,
thanks for mentioning the MLP Pack in your list.
The ransom total has now been donated or pledged so the Pack is available for download.

Thanks all for this great plugins.
It’s off topic but does somebody knows when will be commercial TXP released?

Jirko já myslím že nikdy. Oni jsou pouze tým, který upravuje textpattern pro požadavky klientů ale jako samostatný produkt nemají.

It would be a godsend if the Multi-language support became part of the Textpattern core.
It’s a great mod, but as it is now, if you install the MLP mod, you’d have a hard time upgrading TXP.
