Conventional RSS

I’ve been speaking with Matt Mullenweg from WordPress about establishing a common set of clarifications and assumptions for RSS 2.0 feeds.

It’s called Conventional RSS. As Matt says, it’s not a spec, just a brief document describing the way we do things. RSS 2.0 allows many different interpretations and possibilities; Conventional RSS is a specific implementation, intended to promote compatibility and similarity between applications that produce RSS feeds.
